Registration is open for Rock The Hill’s 5th annual Rocktober Workshop! Scheduled over two days in early October when DCPS is closed for Indigenous Peoples’ Day and parent-teacher conferences, Rocktober is hands down our favorite workshop of the year. Students will prepare a set of spoooooooooky songs to play at their own Halloween party Tuesday afternoon. Over the course of this workshop they’ll plan the setlist, design costumes and decorations, and of course play lots of music with us and their peers.

1-DAY ROCK-O’-WEEN WORKSHOP

FOR KIDS AGE 8-15
DCPS has a professional day the day before Halloween. Kids will spend the day at Rock The Hill HQ where we will have multiple workstations open with the usual array of musical gear. Laura and Steve will be on hand all day for one-on-one and group lessons. The karaoke machine will be rockin’, the popcorn machine will be poppin’, and we’ll end the day with a Halloween-themed party.

1-DAY VETERANS DAY WORKSHOP

FOR KIDS AGE 8-15
Freedom Rock: a Veterans Day workshop! Kids will work on songs that make them think of service, patriotism and America. All interpretations welcome!

Cancellation Policy: If requested earlier than two weeks prior to the workshop date, receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee or 100% credit for a future workshop or summer camp (space permitting). If requested within two weeks of the workshop date, receive a 100% credit for a future workshop or summer camp (space permitting).
